QIIB certificateholder meetings postponed to 28 October 2026 for lack of quorum

Qatar International Islamic Bank, through its vehicle QIIB Senior Oryx Ltd., said in an announcement distributed by RNS, the news service of the London Stock Exchange, that the initial meetings of certificateholders scheduled for 14 October 2026 were adjourned because no quorum was present.

Adjourned meetings for the Series 3 certificates, US$750 million due 2029, and the Series 4 certificates, US$500 million due 2030, will take place on 28 October 2026 at the London offices of Simmons & Simmons. The Series 3 meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. London time, while the Series 4 meeting begins at 9:15 a.m. or after the Series 3 meeting ends, whichever is later. A quorum requires holders of 25 per cent. of the outstanding face amount of each series.

The central item is the proposed re-domiciliation of the issuer from the Cayman Islands to the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC). Electronic voting instructions submitted by the deadline remain valid, and the related certificates stay blocked until the meeting. The organisers expect a quorum based on instructions already received. No consent or participation fee will be paid.
