Leverage Shares rebalances two 3x ETPs after IREN and Rigetti slump

Issuer Leverage Shares plc has announced intraday rebalances of two of its leveraged products, according to a notice distributed by Reuters. The first, the Leverage Shares 3x Long IREN ETP, was triggered at 10:27:11 EST on November 5, 2026, when IREN Ltd shares hit $18.07, down 16.77% from the previous close of $21.71. The index methodology sets the threshold at -16.67%, and that level was crossed.

The second product, the 3x Long Rigetti Computing ETP, was triggered at 10:50:52 EST the same day, when Rigetti Computing shares reached $9.34, down 16.68% from $11.21. In both cases the rebalance started five minutes after the trigger and ran for 10 minutes. The average prices were $18.49871 and $9.31589, and the resulting ETP security values were set at $0.07112 and $0.34200.

Notices like these are routine for leveraged products: when a reference stock moves past a preset threshold within a day, the issuer resets the exposure. Because these instruments are designed to multiply daily moves, a drop of this size magnifies price swings for their holders.
