Syquant Capital discloses stakes in Mitie and Permanent TSB

Syquant Capital filed disclosures under takeover rules, which require investors to report holdings above 1% in companies involved in an offer. TradingView reported the filings, which were published through the London Stock Exchange's RNS service.

For Mitie Group plc, the firm held 13,894,650 shares, or 1.06%, after dealing on October 15. On that day it increased a long position via a CFD on 100,000 reference shares at 210.2 GBp.

For Permanent TSB Group Holdings plc, it held 15,194,197 shares, or 2.78%. It reduced a long CFD position by 1,480 shares at €3.02 per share.

why it matters

Disclosures under takeover rules are required for large holdings in companies taking part in an offer. For the market, such filings show how big investors are adjusting their positions, but they do not by themselves signal the fund's next moves.
