Silver Grail and Teuton expand exploration at Clone property in British Columbia

According to Reuters, citing a TheNewswire press release, Silver Grail Resources (TSX-V: SVG) and Teuton Resources (TSX-V: TUO), which jointly own the Clone property in northwestern British Columbia, have published results of their 2026 exploration. The work went beyond the historically explored high-grade gold Main Zone, aiming to test whether a much larger mineralizing system exists on the property.

An induced polarization and resistivity survey covering 10.3 line-km over about 2.2 km² outlined a broad chargeability anomaly measuring roughly 1.6 by 1.5 km. Three stronger centres within it exceed 25 mV/V, with some values above 30 mV/V. Geologists identified 39 individual responses, including 19 first-priority targets.

In the Ablation Zone, about 1.7 km south of the Main Zone, retreating ice exposed an area of gossanous rock roughly 500 by 300 metres. The newly discovered Seagull Showing contains quartz-magnetite veins that locally make up an estimated 50% of the rock volume. Assays from prospecting and channel sampling are still pending.

why it matters

The project is at the exploration stage, so there are no resource estimates yet. For gold and copper markets the news is mostly of local significance, and the sampling results and further interpretation of the geophysical data will determine the next steps.
