PermRock Royalty Trust has announced a monthly cash payout totaling $197,140.34, equal to $0.016204 per trust unit. Holders recorded as of October 30, 2026 will receive the payment on November 16, 2026. The payout is based mainly on production in August 2026, according to TradingView, which cites the trust's press release.

Oil cash receipts for the underlying properties came to $1.01 million, down $0.24 million from the prior period. The trust's operator, T2S, said the drop mainly reflected lower oil sales volumes. Natural gas receipts rose about $0.02 million to $0.04 million, mainly on higher gas prices. Direct operating expenses fell by roughly $0.19 million to $0.46 million, driven mostly by lower workover and lease operating costs. The trust also held back $62,500 for future ad valorem taxes, of which $50,000 is net to the trust.

why it matters

For investors this is a routine update, and the per-unit payout is small. Sustained growth in production volumes or prices, or a major change in expenses, would have a bigger effect on cash flow. The trust receives 80% of net profits from oil and gas production in the Permian Basin of West Texas, so its payouts depend on oil and gas prices and the operator's costs.
