In the same remarks, Musk outlined his plans and forecasts. Starship's Flight 15 is due next month, and he said the rocket would fly weekly in the first half of next year and twice weekly in the second half. He predicted the Starlink network would reach 100,000 satellites within three years. SpaceX CFO Johnsen said the backlog stood at $63 billion as of September 30, and that fourth-quarter capital expenditures are now expected in a range of $35 billion to $40 billion.

Musk also called renting out AI data centers on short-term contracts a "smart move" for SpaceX.
