Malaysian AME REIT and Zhulian publish quarterly earnings tables

Dow Jones Newswires has published earnings summaries for two companies listed in Malaysia.

AME REIT (5307.KU) reported revenue of MYR 17.545 million for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026, up from MYR 15.679 million a year earlier. Pre-tax profit reached MYR 15.673 million against MYR 9.664 million, and net profit rose to MYR 15.168 million from MYR 9.722 million. Earnings per share increased to 2.85 sen from 1.84 sen, and the dividend was 2.19 sen versus 2.16 sen.

Zhulian (5131.KU) reported its third quarter ended August 31. Revenue fell to MYR 28.382 million from MYR 31.789 million, and the company posted a net loss of MYR 13.558 million, compared with a profit of MYR 3.946 million a year earlier. Loss per share was 2.95 sen, and no dividend was paid in the quarter, against 1.00 sen a year earlier.

why it matters

Both companies are small, so their results mainly interest local investors and are unlikely to move the broader market. The key signal is Zhulian's swing to a loss and its zero dividend in the quarter. For nine months, Zhulian's net loss totalled MYR 11.039 million against a profit of MYR 15.514 million a year earlier, while AME REIT's six-month net profit rose to MYR 25.396 million from MYR 18.933 million.
