Leverage Shares widens how several of its ETPs can gain exposure from 2 November

Leverage Shares plc has notified holders of its ETP securities that it is changing the investment strategies of a large group of leveraged and short products, including 3x Long Gold, 3x Long Oil & Gas and 3x Long Natural Gas. L&S Strategies reported the notice, which was distributed through RNS. The change takes effect on 2 November 2026.

Under the new terms, exposure to the reference assets can also be obtained through American Depositary Receipts, American Depositary Shares and Global Depositary Shares traded on specified markets. Short exposure can be built by borrowing and selling those securities. A separate notice from Vanilla GB covers the Vanilla Global Balanced ETP, which may now hold exchange traded products that are not listed on a regulated market, provided no more than 10% of the fund's assets go into any single such product.

why it matters

For investors this is mainly a technical update tied to the ongoing revision of the base prospectus. It broadens the set of instruments through which the products can reach their reference assets, but it does not change their stated objectives. The news matters most to existing holders of these ETPs, and the notice itself points to no wider effect on markets.
