Lamor restarts ramp-up of Kilpilahti circular oil plant after minor fire

Lamor Corporation said on October 30 that the ramp-up of its circular oil plant in Kilpilahti, Finland, has resumed. The plant has been producing circular oil since the afternoon of October 29.

The plant first produced circular oil on October 19, but a minor fire during commissioning led to a shutdown. An inspection traced the fire to a small gas leak, which has since been addressed. The company says the next steps focus on consistent product quality and confirming that operations can be sustained.
