According to Moody's, Kwality Wall's (India) has picked Tahir Toloy Tanridagli to lead the business as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, starting November 1, 2026. The step marks a new phase for the firm, which was spun off from Hindustan Unilever Limited. Its board backed the choice on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. His term runs three years, to October 31, 2029, pending shareholder approval and other statutory clearances.

Tanridagli already sits on the company's board and took part in its reorganisation after the spin-off. He also heads the METSA region at The Magnum Ice Cream Company, but in the new role his operational duties will be confined to the Indian business. Supply chain changes accompany the move: Vivek Sarbhai leaves the Head of Supply Chain, India post on October 31, 2026, with the company citing a revision of his designation, and Ansu Archana takes over on November 1. Archana has more than 15 years in supply chain and procurement, including director-level roles at Unilever.

why it matters

The company is the Indian arm of The Magnum Ice Cream Company, which holds 61.91 per cent of the shares after gaining control under a June 2025 agreement with Unilever. The shares trade on BSE and NSE. For investors this is mainly a governance step, showing how the independent listed business is shaping its own management structure.
