HCLTech, Anthropic join forces to expand enterprise agentic AI

Moneycontrol reports that HCLTech has announced a Global Premier Partnership with artificial intelligence company Anthropic. The companies will work to speed up agentic AI adoption among global enterprises, with safety, cybersecurity and governance identified as key priorities.

HCLTech will create a dedicated Anthropic Business Unit and a Centre of Excellence to build agentic AI solutions and expand the use of Anthropic’s Claude models in corporate settings. Its services teams will develop sector-specific offerings powered by Claude, Cowork and Claude Code, while also providing secure sandbox environments, workforce training and support for AI-native engineering practices.

HCLSoftware will become an Anthropic independent software vendor partner and embed Claude in selected products covering cybersecurity, automation, business process applications and application development. The products named include HCL BigFix and HCL AppScan, while Actian AI Analyst will also be enabled by the partnership. Claude and Claude Code will be integrated into HCLTech’s AIForce platform for IT support, code remediation and digital employee services, with policy guardrails, exception handling and human oversight for high-impact changes.

The collaboration builds on HCLTech’s engineering, data, cloud and software capabilities. Daniela Amodei and C Vijayakumar said the agreement is intended to help clients move from AI experimentation to scaled enterprise deployment.
