HC Wainwright keeps Buy ratings on four biotech companies

HC Wainwright & Co. maintained a Buy rating on Rhythm Pharmaceuticals with a $130.00 price target. TradingView reported that the target represents implied upside of 43.2% from the Oct. 9 close of $90.78. Dow Jones Newswires separately reported that Rhythm Pharmaceuticals remained rated Buy. The analysts cited the expected launch of IMCIVREE in Japan after marketing authorization for acquired hypothalamic obesity. The potential Japanese patient population is estimated at 5,000 to 8,000. The note also highlighted a statistically significant BMI reduction in the Phase 3 TRANSCEND trial and the product’s revenue-growth potential.

TradingView said HC Wainwright reiterated a Buy rating on Sophia Genetics and a $14.00 target. That target implies 88.9% upside from the Oct. 9 close of $7.41. The analyst note pointed to possible annual U.S. revenue of more than $1 million per account, rising platform usage among signed customers and a focus on prostate-cancer diagnostics within the company’s solid-tumor companion-diagnostics program.

For Absci, the firm also reiterated Buy and set a $16.00 price target, implying 57.5% upside from the Oct. 9 close of $10.16. The note focused on ABS-201, an anti-prolactin receptor antibody with an extended half-life. Preliminary studies indicated that the candidate may support the preservation and replenishment of follicular stem cells.

HC Wainwright maintained Buy on Kodiak Sciences with a $126.00 target. TradingView said this implies 26.2% upside from the Oct. 9 close of $99.87. Zenkuda (tarcocimab tedromer) achieved non-inferiority to standard treatment in the Phase 3 DAYBREAK trial while offering longer durability. Retinal specialists also expressed support for its ability to deliver rapid and sustained retinal drying.
