GMR Airports lifts Q2 profit to 65.4 crore rupees as revenue grows 11.6%

GMR Airports Limited (GAL) recorded profit after tax (PAT) of 65.4 crore rupees in Q2 FY27, against 35.1 crore rupees a year earlier, based on an investor presentation filed with the NSE, TradingView reported. Revenue from operations climbed 11.6% to 4,095.4 crore rupees from 3,670 crore. EBITDA rose to 1,568.6 crore rupees, yet the EBITDA margin slipped to 49% from 53%.

In the first half of FY27, revenue reached 8,059.4 crore rupees versus 6,875.2 crore, and PAT came in at 213.3 crore rupees, compared with a loss of 102.1 crore a year earlier. The company said it has now been profitable for five straight quarters.

Airports run by GAL handled 2.8 crore passengers in Q2. Domestic traffic was flat year on year, while international traffic rose 2.1%. In the first half, these airports served 5.84 crore passengers, the highest first-half figure on record. Across India, however, total passenger traffic fell 3.1% in April to September 2026.
