Dominion Energy lifts third-quarter 2026 earnings and keeps full-year outlook

According to TradingView, Dominion Energy posted GAAP net income of $1.2 billion, or $1.30 per share, for the three months ended September 30, 2026. A year earlier the figure was $1.0 billion, or $1.16 per share.

Operating earnings, which the company uses as its main performance measure for analysts and investors, reached $1.1 billion, or $1.28 per share, compared with $921 million, or $1.06 per share, a year earlier. The gap between reported and operating results reflects items such as nuclear decommissioning trust gains and losses, hedging mark-to-market effects and impairments of some nonregulated assets.

The company expects 2026 operating earnings to land in the top half of its $3.45 to $3.69 per share guidance range. Its other operating earnings, credit, dividend and long-term growth guidance was reaffirmed. The earnings call is scheduled for October 30 at 11 a.m. ET.
