Dell gains 2% as its Nvidia AI servers face a 2027 shipment timeline

Dell Technologies widened its lineup of Nvidia-based AI systems. Per gurufocus.com, the stock was quoted at $462.51 on October 23, up about 2.12% by 11:30 a.m. ET. Data Center Dynamics reported that the compact Vera CPU server ships this month, while the Vera rack and the Groq 3 inference system are slated for the first quarter of 2027.

Demand, the company says, is climbing quickly. Its AI Factory with Nvidia now counts more than 6,500 customers, up from 5,000 last quarter, a gain of over 30%. In its latest earnings release Dell logged $60.9 billion of AI-server orders and $16.4 billion of AI-server sales, leaving a $95 billion backlog roughly 5.8 times that quarter's figure for the segment.
