Deep Sea Minerals Names Raj Matthew New CFO, Steven Nguyen Moves to VP Finance

Vancouver-based Deep Sea Minerals Corp., which explores and develops deep-sea polymetallic nodule assets, has appointed Raj Matthew as Chief Financial Officer effective October 27, 2026. The company made the announcement in a press release distributed via GlobeNewswire. According to the company, Matthew has more than 25 years of financial leadership experience.

Matthew previously served as CFO of Asante Technologies, a networking hardware company listed on Nasdaq. He currently chairs the audit committee of K2 Capital Acquisition Corp., which is also Nasdaq-listed. His earlier roles include a finance director position at Seagate Technology and senior finance posts across the semiconductor and communications sectors.

Steven Nguyen, who was CFO, will move into the role of Vice President of Finance and remain on the board of directors. Chief Executive Officer James Deckelman said Matthew's experience with listed companies and strategic transactions will be useful as the company moves to its next stage.
