Concord Biotech sets November 4 record date for 1:1 bonus share issue

According to Moody's, Ahmedabad-based bio-pharmaceutical components maker Concord Biotech may attract attention next week, as November 4 has been fixed as the record date for determining which shareholders receive bonus shares. The company's board approved a 1:1 issue, meaning each holder will receive one new share for every fully paid share already owned. The issuance is subject to statutory and regulatory approvals.

BSE data as of November 1 shows this is the only bonus issue record date scheduled for the coming week. To qualify, investors must own the stock before the record date, which in this case means by Tuesday, November 3. The shares closed 1.25% higher on Friday, October 30, at Rs.1,245.30 with a market capitalisation of Rs.13,027.86 crore, and gained 1.34% over the week.

The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs.1,614.05 on August 20, 2026, and a 52-week low of Rs.987.05 on April 2, 2026. It is down about 14.28% over one year. Since its August 2023 listing at an issue price of Rs.741, the share has risen nearly 68%.
