Citadel Group discloses stakes in 80 Mile, Greenland Energy and DCC Energy

On 19 October 2026 Citadel Group published Form 8.3 disclosures under the takeover codes. They detail its holdings in securities of three companies involved in takeover situations, as of 16 October 2026. The filings were distributed by Greenland Energy Company, DCC Energy plc and Reuters.

At 80 Mile plc, the fund holds 4,101,530 ordinary shares (0.07%), while another 9,659,310 shares (0.17%) are tracked through cash-settled derivatives. At Greenland Energy Co it reports 116,247 shares (0.26%) and 1,007,455 warrants (2.30%), with short positions in shares of 350,312 (0.80%). At DCC Energy plc the stake stands at 2,166,465 shares, or 2.53%, of which 1,740,844 are derivatives.

On the same day, DCC Energy shares were bought in a 200-share trade at 64.35 pounds, and a long CFD position was reduced by 60,000 reference shares at 64.40 pounds. Trades of 10,000 80 Mile shares were recorded both as a purchase at 0.0098 pounds and a sale at 0.0102 pounds.

why it matters

Form 8.3 filings are required from holders of at least 1% of a target company's securities, so they do not by themselves reveal how any bid will end. For markets, they mainly signal which funds are building or hedging large positions in small issuers, where trading is thinner than in index constituents.
