BioInvent reports Q3 2026 results and plans rights issue of about SEK 430 million

Swedish biotech BioInvent International has released its January–September 2026 interim report, according to a notice distributed by TradingView based on the company's release. Net sales in the third quarter came to SEK 10.8 million, against SEK 3.3 million a year earlier, while the after-tax loss was SEK 118.9 million. Liquid funds and investments stood at SEK 224.6 million on September 30, down from SEK 690.5 million a year earlier.

The board has decided on a rights issue of roughly SEK 430 million gross, before issue costs. Of that amount, SEK 350 million is covered by subscription commitments and guarantee undertakings, and the plan still needs approval at an extraordinary general meeting. The company says its priority remains BI-1808, which received FDA Fast Track designation for ovarian cancer treatment.

BioInvent also announced a streamlining of its organization to support prioritized clinical programs, and said its CFO will retire in 2027. The results presentation is scheduled for October 29, 2026 at 3:00 pm CET.

For investors, the key question now is funding: with the cash position where it is, the rights issue and cost cuts will determine whether there is enough capital to advance BI-1808. The news concerns one company and is unlikely to move the broader market.
