According to Reuters, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, one of the UAE's leading lenders, booked a pre-tax profit of AED11.67 billion ($3.18 billion) over the first nine months of 2026. The third quarter alone delivered AED4.063 billion, and both periods were up 28% from a year earlier, marking 21 straight quarters of profit growth.

Net profit after tax rose 27% to AED10.296 billion for the nine-month period, while third-quarter net profit climbed 15% to AED3.559 billion. Income from sources other than lending grew 21% and accounted for 38% of operating income, helped by double-digit gains in fees and trading. The cost-to-income ratio improved to 27.3%.

Loans grew by AED66 billion, or 16% year to date, and customer deposits rose AED58 billion, or 12%. Cost of risk fell to 36 basis points from 73 a year earlier, and the non-performing loan ratio hit a record low of 1.60%. The CET1 ratio stood at 13.79% and the liquidity coverage ratio at 116.8%.
